In Honor of John Paca Thomas

  1. Hello!

My name is (Michael) Paca Thomas, and you might imagine why I am intrigued by this lovely gentleman's name. I assume that he, too, was a decendent of William Paca, one of our country's Founding Fathers, but I wonder if there some also connection with the Thomases. Mr. Paca was my 4x Great Gandfather; Rev Henry Thomas married his daughter. Is this your heritage also?

If you have a minute, I'd love to see if you can shed light on this little mystery.

This is a wonderful tribute page.

    Thanks for your time,

    Paca

    1. Hi Paca! I'm so sorry it's taken so long to respond. My brother brought to my attention that you had left a comment while he too was looking into our genealogy. My grandfather was descendent of William Paca as well. We'd love to talk and learn more about you as well. Let me know if you get this and we'll find a way to get in touch.

    2. Hi Paca!

Yes, this IS the same lineage you are referring to! Wow - very nice to meet you!

The John Paca Thomas featured here is my grandfather, who was the son of Milton Addison Thomas who was the son of William Paca Thomas and on and on... I'm the one he's holding in the bottom picture here at the left(albeit more grown up - hah).

If you're still out there reading and searching, I'd love to connect and see where our paths and research cross :) I just took up genealogy for our family, and I'm holding a book right now on the Paca descendants that my father (John Addison Thomas) handed me over the weekend which I'd be more than happy to share with you if you haven't seen it before.

Here's my email: xris.thomas (at) gmail (dot) com

Hopefully you find this note after all these years!

      - Christopher John Thomas
